panther copulation period?

whats the longest copulation period youve had as my mitsio female is now 52 days ? ive heard its 4-8weeks
she is still eating a little & drinking but im starting too get a little worried now.

Have you provided a laying bin?
One of my females just laid today(25 large eggs) and she was eating yesterday, so it caught me off guard when she was digging her hole when I went to feed her. I thought she would lay eggs next week.....luckily I decided to put a laying bin in yesterday.

Going on a month for my one female, and still don't see eggs protruding from her skin, yet she has gotten noticeably bigger where she should be. My one female Ackie does the same, gets huge and when u think shes gonna burst then she'll lay eggs but doesn't show any signs of eggs in her.

i have my laying bin in there all the time & my laying substrate is playsand/eco-earth.

Same here, i use Eco-Earth and Zoo Meds Clay burrowing substrate mixed together.

52 days does seem like a long time, but as consolation, my other female laid eggs 5 weeks after copulation and then laid another batch of eggs 6 weeks after the first clutch. She was only mated the one time 11 weeks before here last clutch. So far both clutches are doing good and I have only 3 eggs go bad.

BTW, have you been weighing her to see if she is gaining weight? I started weighing my girls, since that 2nd clutch surprised me (she started digging in her ficus and I barely had time to placed the laying bin).
