Panther Container Trained

I have trained my Beardie to feed from a container (porcelain ramekin), he will eat from the substrate but he knows to look and find food in the container. It save from him having to search for food and it keeps stray crickets at bay.

The Mom n Pop store that has the adult Panther Charm that I want to buy claims that he is also container trained....are Chams also capable of container training?

As far as i can tell, yes, it is possible. My panther gets fed his worms in a "worm dish," he immediately recognizes when it is being used and hauls over to it because he knows food is inside. Some will argue however that the act of "hunting" can be positively stimulating and promote exercise etc.

I cup feed but a few Crickets get out sometimes so he gets to hunt some but his dubias, reptiworms, supers and silks stay in the cup with the side cut out and screen in it for him to eat. He is walking his cage and moving a lot so I don't see making him work for is food. He can go for a walk anytime he wants.
