hello everyone. I have a clutch of Ambanja eggs that just hit nine months of incubation. I had two babies hatch around three weeks ago, but all of the other 25 eggs show no signs of sweating of pipping. How long have you experienced between the first and last hatch?? Most of my babies are done hatching within a week or so of each other.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I think is hard to say, in average I would say a month. However I have had clutches that started hatching at 9 months and the rest almost 12 months.

Thanks! Its tough being an impatient person! In the past with the veilds, it was like a mass exodus!!! Very different with the panthers!

Going throught the same thing right now my first clutch from this female hatched within 3 days of each other and they weere in 2 separate containers. Her second clutch I have one egg that has been sweating for 5 days and finally slit today. Now only a couple more days and he will hopefully absorb his yolk an be out. The wait is killing me.

I've had 17 out of 20 hatch out within 3 days at 7 months and had the other 3 go another 2 months before hatching. Its really hard to gauge. How close are your eggs in the incubation medium and what are you using (hatchrite/verm)?

Cool pics BTW. Hope you get a healthy little one out of that egg.

Now that you mention it, the veiled eggs were much closer together! These are spread out between 2 shoe box sized containers in vermiculite. The last clutch of Panthers I had hatched out at 7 months within a week of eachother, but they were all in the same container as well.

My wife keeps laughing at me because I chcek them so often.

This is a project i do with my 11 year old son, and even HE has more patience than I do!
