Panther Chameleon Something Stuck in Eye

3.5 Year old Male Panther has something in his eye noticed about 3 days ago, he has a vet appointment on Wednesday. Im hoping its just debris that is stuck in there, he blinks hard and inflates the eye trying to push it out with no luck.

My original concern was vitamin a deficiency when I saw how he was keeping it closed but there is definitely something in there. He opens the eye fine and has no swelling or discharge. He has shown lack of appetite yesterday and today. Other eye looks great he just keeps the other eye closed.

I've upped the enclosure humidity to try to moisten it but wanted to know if there is anything else I can do to last him till the vet.

He has a long 5.0 UVB bulb, automatic mister and fogger. Humidity and Heat are within acceptable levels, Fogger is currently on high

You could aim the nozzle of a sterile saline bottle at the eye (preservative-free contact lens rinse solution) and squirt/drip the solution at the eye opening. Saline will sting less than plain water so he may not squeeze the eyelid shut to avoid it as quickly. Might get a bit more solution under the lid to help dislodge whatever it is. Still, after trying to dislodge something so long, the inside of the eyelid is probably irritated or inflamed. Might need a medicated eye drop from the vet to ease discomfort and help it heal.
