Panther chameleon set up thoughts?

Here is my current set up for a Panther Chameleon. I had every intention of starting with a veiled but the reptile show I went to only had adults and a single female so I picked up this Panther chameleon instead. He was born March 15th.

Current set up is 16x16x30 dragon strand with a ficus and pathos. Lighting is a light your reptile 24 inch hood with 6500 k plant light and 6% Arcadia bulb along with a 50 w daylight neo bulb. Basking spot is 82 to 84 as measured with an infrared thermometer. Using a mistking that is scheduled as

757 1 min 26
0900 1 min
1100 2 min
3pm 5 min
4 1 min
630 1 min

So far he is eating 4 week crickets and or Dubai daily with plain calcium with Saturday's without and alternating Sunday's with vitamins and ca with d3.

Any critiques of my set up? How big should he be before I upgrade to a 48" enclosure? Should I offer food daily as long as he eats everything?

Thank you for looking

I usually use the tall ones for my females 18 x 18 x 40 the males I have in the shorter 18x 30 x 30

Thank you crashbandit, how long do you think I have?

Link- why do you keep your males in the shorter cages? Don't the males get larger than the females?

It's still a large cage but I find that they like to move around and longer areas then going up higher. As my females seem to like you go as high as they can. Everybody is different and has their own techniques you just need to find what works for you. Right now I have 4 females and 5 males. I also get free roaming twice or three times a week my basement looks like a pet store ha ha. hope this helps

Link- Thank you for the explanation, I appreciate other input. All I have ever read is 24x24x48 but I do know that males like to wander more. Who makes the 18x30x30 enclosure? DIY?

I think mine AR Zoo Meds. Ones that have a hole in the back . And I use the hole for my misters and drippers so I set them up backwards.
