I'm getting an adult panther chameleon here soon and have some questions about his cage and lighting. Right now I have:
2x2x4 screen cage
24" Zoo Med T5 HO Reptisun Hood w/5.0 UVB Bulb
Automatic Mister
ReptiFogger
Combo Deep Dome
1 100 watt basking bulb
1 100 watt red bulb
Little Dripper
I bought the screen cage and the T5 hood for cheap and then got the rest and more from someone who's kid went off to college and they just wanted to get rid of the stuff, I got an amazing deal.
I'm trying to figure out if I can use the bulbs and the dome or if it would be better to get something different? I'm also going to use real plants and would like to know what kind of fixture I should get for the plants? Also how close should the uvb be to his branches? I know these may sound like silly questions but I've never had a chameleon before and I just want to make sure that everything is perfect for him.
