Hello all! Yesterday my 6 month old male panther suffered a prolapse. Thankfully he managed to pull it back in, so from this it is suspected he was constipated and from pushing, it prolapsed. We took him to the vets yesterday to have him checked over, we were told it wasn't his hemipenes so the vet suspects the prolapse was his bowel. We will be collecting his next poop for testing. I just wondered if anyone knows how this can be avoided in future? He eats and drinks well, is always active. Although today I am slightly worried as he just doesn't seem himself, but he is starting to shed so it could be due to this as he always gets moody throughout a shed. The only advice the vet gave was to keep an eye on him, felt like he had charged me a lot of money for nothing to be honest but better to be safe than sorry. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks.
