Panther chameleon enclosure size

Hi!
I'm planning on getting a panther chameleon. I have a full screen 30 gallon terrarium. I want to know, is 30 gallon big enough for an adult male Panther if I take him out for exercise every other day or so? Or is it way too small?
Thanks in advance!

It will be fine for a juvenile, but not for an adult. What are the exact dimensions?. You can turn it vertical to give it heighth also. The standard for adult is 24 X 24 X 48 or it can be bigger.

Thanks for help!! Yeah i looked on some forums and yeah i realized its too small. What about a female panther? Could one of them fit in there? The exact dimensions are 60cm long, 30cm wide and 60cm tall. By the way, i really want a pa ther cham because of their beautiful colours. I saw that females dont have those kind of colours.. Or do they?

Some females can still develop beautiful colors.. however most stay brown, pink, orange. I've noticed nosy be females tend to occasionally get some beautiful purples and blues.. But your cage is too small for a panther. Male or female. I'd recommend some pygmies for that enclosure

Good luck

I agree with the members above. If you have the time to monitor your chams diet, I would go for the biggest cage. I put my 3 month old in the biggest reptibreeze cage they offered and within a few days, he was crawling all over and hunting on his own.

I've decided that I'll buy a baby male panther and make a new bigger cage for him later when he's bigger. For how long can he stay in a 30 gallon? And btw, when i make a new cage, does it need to be a screen cage or can i make a wooden one with a bunch of ventilation holes?
Thanks!!!
