Hi. I have a full grown male panther (a little over one year). He always goes in the same place. I cleaned the spot four or five days ago and I have not seen any new stool there since. I have tried soaking in hot water with no results. I cut feeding back to five crickets daily (usually I give him 10 cirx 6 days a week and one day fasting). He did eat a full grown Dubia roach a couple days prior to cleaning his poop spot and Im sure this must play a part in the in the constipation. He has eaten full grown ones without problems before. I have called several vets trying to pick up some sort of laxative, but all mandate a visit with the chameleon as Illinois law. I am reluctant to bring him to the vet for two reasons, one being the stress and two being that it is so cold outside now. I feel the two issues will not be a good combination. I am picking up wax worms today for him and will try the warm shower method. Does anyone know any sort of laxative I can use with reptiles. I really don't want to drag him to the vet in this weather for this sort of problem. Thank you
