Panther Cham sitting in same spot for 2 days help!!!

So I have a panther Cham about almost 3, I have the biggest reptibreez cage. With a live schefflera the healthy one. I have some foliage in his cage also. He has been frequently eating. His temps are 91 basking and lowest 72 toward the bottom. I have the tube uv light 5.0. As well as a ceramic heat lamp and a purple heat lamp. I moved recently about 2 months ago but he showed no problem with it.
Until 2 days ago he has been sitting in the same spot and sleeping allot. Will only open his eyes when I'm messing around in his cage will eat sometimes. And this started with his shed. I raised humidity thinking it was him being uncomfortable. And hasn't changed.
Any ideas?

If he's sleeping a lot during the daytime, it might be time to consult a vet. That's typically indicative of something causing chronic stress, and it might be an internal thing, not so much what you're doing. I'm not expert though, but I've just been listening to Bill Strand's podcast and heard the part about closed eyes during the day being a red flag.

So I took him to the vet and the vet said maybe the temps are too low? And that he was healthy and parasite free. Not back up or anything. So what could it be is is still slow moving through out the day the temp doesn't drop below 76 during day? Basking ehh 90-94 what's going on?

What do you mean...purple light?? When is it on...day...night? How long have you used that light?

How long have you had the chameleon?

my baby likes to close her eyes sometimes during day aswell, not very often. My vet too said she is healthy and nothing to worry about, as it's not consistent!!

And do u mean the moonlight bulb ( purple glow)

If I understand your first post, the only light you have is a fairly weak UVB tube bulb? No wonder he is going to sleep! Try adding a lot more bright light. I have four bulbs over most of my cages, a 12% UVB, two 6500 bright lights and a plant light.

For the baby cages, I have just two bulbs, a UVB and a 6500K daylight bulb.

When I replaced a similar lighting unit made by ZooMed (UVB plus LED lights), I noticed a HUGE difference in the activity of my veiled. He just came alive and his color went from drab to bright. The difference was immediate.

Although I haven't noticed it with my own animals, some will slow down in the winter, even when the temps are the same. They must somehow sense the winter.
