hi, this is my first post. i am curious to know why panther chams babies are not that accessable. i have a 7mo ambilobe and im lookin to get an adult female to breed with him. so my question is, is there some sort of hidden thing im missing about breeding panther chams?
Panther chams are abundantly available all across the US with probably hundreds, if not thousands of breeders. There is no secret to raising panther babies, except for the fact that the majority of people who begin breeding quickly change their minds about the thought of breeding for profit. Chameleons are very expensive to raise, and unless you live in an area where they can be housed outside require a ton of extra work.
I'm trying to get mine to breed but will most likely wait until I move in a few weeks.
That being said, you SHOULD only breed for the love of the animal/reptile not for the $
I know 2 stores that will take any and all panthers I breed, one store will take them after a month but won't sell them for another couple months so they can display them with the for sale in x time sign. This is what I do with my bearded dragons but they just won't breed anymore :s
