Paint for Enclosures

Ok...so no one jumps on me, this is a idea my husband has, and we are asking for opinions/ credible answers as to help us decide.

Lambeau or 4 month old veiled is doing very well, he lives in a custom made enclosure that is rather larger then most enclosures. It is constructed of wood, and has screen on all sides and top. it was neatly done and looks very nice, however my husband would like to paint the outside wood (green and yellow) with some white here and there. He is a die hard Packers fan and Lambeau was named after the stadium, my husband thinks it would be a great idea to paint the enclosure the same colors as the stadium, im not sure about it, or what paints to use, etc... does anyone have feedback in this regards?

If it’s only on the outside of the enclosure I don’t see why it would be an issue.
-Just to be safe-
I would move the Cham into a temp home maybe until the paint dry’s and the fumes go away.

Ya we had definitely thought about having to move Lambeau into a temp enclosure until the project was done, but then decided against it all together :( we figure a few G decals on each corner would be sufficient. Thanks for your opinion :D

I use zero VOC latex acrylic paint on both the inside and outside of my cages. Just give it a day to dry fully before you put the chameleon back in the cage
