Pack of Panthers

Aw, who couldn't love 35 babies at once! LOL At least they will all be at the same stage. I guess you'll be getting a big order of pinheads at the next meeting. How many groups are you going to split them into?

I am going to split them up next week. I am going to start with 6 per tub in 5 tubs.

I have 9 baby cages 16x18x20 to start off with and will split them the best I can. I have reserved some room to raise a few on their own starting out of the egg. It is more of a "learning experience". I am curious to see how much they thrive without competition.

My two babies can't stand to see each other and the female wouldn't eat with the male around so I have them seperated. They are doing great, but I only have the two! Good luck, I'm sure Lisa is enthralled. Tory was just looking at your pictures and squealing with pleasure seeing all those babies in one place!

Feeding all babies...

How do you make sure all 35 babies are getting enough food? Do you put them in individual containers with pinheads? Or just throw a ton of pinheads in the bin..??

Just curious...

Lots of 1wk crickets and Hydei ff . I just throw a bunch in.

I have watched just about all of them eat. I am going to break them into smaller groups real soon to keep a better eye on them.

looks like alot of fun, ill haveta give ya call nexttime im down that way check em out, and you said you have more on the way?

How are you picking the ones you are raising from egg by themselves? I wanted to do this as well (figured thats what everyone did with hold backs) but I haven't seen any posts on how people pick hold backs. All baby's look alike in photo's to me

There are a few that just looked different than the others. Darker Striping, and some other stuff that made them stand out. I picked a couple males and females.

I don't know if these will be the ones I will hold back just the ones I pulled out. I will pick the ones that start showing color first and see what happens from there.

That's it Ryan. I have GOT to come see your and Lisa's place. Heck, I'm going to make a special trip just to see it. I have no idea how you do it. BUT....I will be happy to take some of these little guys off your hands to give you some extra space.... he he he :D

Seriously, thought, that's awesome and good for you guys. :)

I swear I was gonna say 30. Congrats! They do look more developed than the neos from that other clutch. Hope you have some money left over for pinheads after your outrageous utility bills this month!
