i like the shedding pic. all your chams are cute ^^ you should post the rest of the pics.

The other pictures are not as interesting, or blurry like the one below.
Nice pictures but where are the other 6? ;)
What kind of mantis is that? Are you breeding them?
This is a common Chinese mantis. I breed around twenty species of mantis.
Nice pictures Steve! Love the shedding picture. :)
Thank you. I see alot of shedding, but not always easy to catch a good in the act picture.
Steve, those mantis cases you gave me finally hatched! I almost gave up on them and then BAM! hundreds all at once:)
Never give up. I've had egg cases hatch a year later.

What species? Most newly hatched mantis will eat fruit flies after a day or two of hatch.

the mom was green and i found her outside. i kinda guessed on everything with ooth care and right when i was giveing up (last night) i was gunna clean out the cage and there was 3 :) i have 3 egg cases aswell and so far these only came out of the one(guessing). i have fruit flys but their the biger kinda. i put drops of honey and cat food and some little black things that fly arounf my pygmy tank(smaller than fruit flys). im hopeing they will eat those and grow and than eat the bigger flys.

I´m just thinking about getting some for my mum as she really likes them for some reason.
So i could breed them without her noticing :D

The misting nozzle in the background is something you can find at the H Depot. Baby parson not included. :D

Wow that´s VERY green, wil be interesting to see if it turns out to be a female as it´s said that if they turn green for a certain time when they are young they most probably are females.
Which local is that?
Very beautiful anyway.
