outside temps for babies

I have baby sternfeldi here and I'd really like to let them get some sun today out in the backyard. The weather is beautiful, but it is really hot here today...its around 27 degrees celcius and really humid. Is this too hot for the babies to be out? They're 6 weeks old.

It's good for them to get some natural sunlight but they can overheat quickly. Make sure they have a shaded spot to escape the sun/heat and you should be ok to have them out for a few hours. Keep your eye on them for signs of over heating though the whole time because things can go downhill quick for babies.

They'll get all the natural light they need in the shade. I'd stay away from direct sunlight. Keep the humidity high and make sure the cage is heavily planted.
