What would I need for an outside enclosure? Right now I have a large all screen enclosure can I go small for an outside enclosure? Seeing as he won't be in there all the time and will only be out there when I am out there with him?

Yea shouldnt be an issue as long as he has cool shade. Honestly if u will he out there with bin u dont need an enclouser. Just lke a ficus or similar safe tree u can put him in.

Trust me he wont take off like a rocket ;)

If u have dogs cats if birds if prey often near u then enclousers a definate good idea.

We do have dogs but they aren't allowed on the deck but my worry is the birds they are all over the place by our house from hawks to crows. There is a pet store moving thy has some small screen enclosures for like 70% off so I was making sure he would be ok in a smaller enclosure just while he is outside. ;)

One more question what should the temp be outside before taking him outside?

As long as its not to small to thermoregulate.
Temp depends on age and type of cham
Veileds and panthers under 8-9 months no hotter than 80-90
Adults 90-95
Both with a cool shade of 75ish

Shade can be created with foliage but keep an eye cause sun moves and shade can disappear

He is about 5-7 months. And he is a Jacksons. I only plan on taking him out when I am out there and for an hour or so at a time.
