Outside enclosure

Hello guys, I have an old chicken coop I am considering making into a huge chameleon enclosure! I'd like your thoughts before I do it. I want to put a full time mister in there that's linked to my hose (no chlorine or added minerals before it hits the filter in my house) and adding a quick shade because in the afternoon the sun hits it full on. I also want to star a chameleon safe garden for them. I would still feed them in their normal cages in the morning and put them in their cages at night.

i feel the wire is way to big and i think it is more room than you can maintain and keep safe for your chameleon also he would probably be eating so many bugs and who knows what they have but a smaller cage you could maintain easier and it would not allow bugs he could eat in but its just my thoughts

I built my custom cage out of the same wire (I forget to mention the door wire is being replaced since it's a larger kind) and since there's no pesticides in my neighborhood (I live in the country, my neighbors only grow organic things, we all trade with each other) and no one grows any types of nightshade (we grow potatoes and carrots) I figured the bugs should be fairly safe. Especially since his feeding schedule is in the morning before I take him outside he's usually full

That would be awesome for any cham, I would only worry about things getting in like racoons or other curious wild animals, once you get the shade and plants in its gonna be awesome

Nice to hear! I have considered the coons and other animals going there (I see tiny birds in there sometimes) so I've made the wire into tiny chick wire so even thos birds can't get in. They're really reinforced (I tried to kick it down, didn't even nudge the staples) and the wire is to weaved together it doesn't stretch. As another precaution I'm putting heavy green outside carpet, and taking them inside during the night :)
