Since everyone here shops at pet stores thought I pass on my latest experience. Don't know if I'm allowed to mention names so I wont for now. Long story short over the last week I've been trying to get the store to do something about saving some sick iguanas they were letting starve to death. Well today I finally got one manager to take the last one left and say it would see a vet tomorrow. I'm outraged that the employees just let the animals waste away so cruelly! So I want to say don't shop there, but can I same the name?

I really get upset by chain pet stores. I try not to go near them. Given where I live, they are easy to avoid.

I have a local small, non-chain pet store where I get crickets and even the smaller stores have trouble it seems providing adequate care sometimes. I mentioned to the reptile manager that the 4 month old veileds needed to be separated(4 in a 18x18x?), they ignored me and 2 weeks later had to remove one because the others were attacking him.
This week I noticed one of the same veileds oozing out the nose white crusty substance, mentioned that there may be an issue with over supplementation, and again ignored. The reptile manager actually gives me nasty looks when i walk in now.
