I disinfected an old rat cage, and am planning on using it as an outdoor enclosure, for when I am out doing yardwork. I put some plants in there, to see how it would look/work, and noticed that the cage was covered with chiggers, just that quickly. Will they harm my chameleon? Is there a way to get rid of them, as I noticed they are everywhere this time of year ??. Will add an updated pic of him and the enclosure.
