Outdoor enclosure details

I’m making an outdoor enclosure for my panther chameleon Charles. He has an indoor enclosure that’s properly set up but for something to do me and my dad are making an outdoor enclosure for him to go in during the day occasionally.

We haven’t built anything yet but I’m just wondering how long he should be outside for. I live in Boca Raton and it’s only gonna be for him to get outside a bit a few times a week and not for the night. There will be no uvb lights or misters because the cage will be in the sunlight with plant coverage.
The cage will probably be made out of wood and a thicker screen.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Afraid I can’t help much with outdoor enclosures, but I have seen a bit here and do live in Florida, so….
Most provide some sort of shade over part of the enclosure or dappled sunlight. Direct Florida sun is brutal and can quickly bake your guy. Personally, I would avoid the hottest mid day hours and put him out either for a couple of hours in the morning sun or afternoon. When you bring him back inside, do offer some hydration. Make sure to take preventative steps to keep predators out, which includes snakes. If you have a screened lanai, that would be a perfect place for the enclosure.
