Outdoor cage question

Ok I have Ringos big huge cage that I'm going to send outside once we move. Making him a complete new set up! Well I have a question. We dont really know where we are moving yet, but if its in Arkansas or Houston, TX I know it gets really hot and humid there. So i was thinking about about getting a automatic dripper and throwing a green tarp over the top and side for shade. But I dont really know if that would be a good ideal or not.

The cage is 2ftx4ftx4ft, have 2 hibicus I'm going to put in there, and I dont really know what else yet. The cage is sitting on a 2x2x6 stand and was planning on (if I ever get another chameleon) making a smaller outdoor cage.

So would the tarp over the top and side be ok for shade? Any other suggestions on outdoor plants to use?

Thanks

I live in FLa and I drape one side with a large towel so I I think it would be ok. Bottom line is how hot is it gonna be even in the shade? I have a large Ficus and two very tall Sheffeleras in mine also. Are you going to be working all day and leaving unattended? I only have mine outside if I am going to be home cause it is very hot here right now and I like to check on them incase they might overheat.

Well when we move in November it will be to the point of being to cold for him to go outside. As it is right now I'll be a SAHM until I get a job. And even then to avoid the costs of a babysitter I'll probably have a night shift/early morning job.
