Mista(my veiled) would never eat anything but locusts(which i am quite happy about)
i tried him on mealworms yesterday which up till then had showed no interest in but he suddenly went mad for them. I think at first he mistook it for a waxie as i gave him a freshly shedded one and he looked well confused lol.
anyway my question is,i know they shouldn't be a staple food but how many and how often should they be given as a treat?

How often should you eat a big mac?

I don't think there is a set rule for how many and how often. You just want to keep it a treat and not part of their daily diet.

So if I were to put a number on it I'd say no more than 1-2 times a week. Even then those are high numbers for people/big mac standards.

Lily loved the newly shed ones too. I only used to give her a couple when she was in one of her 'I'm not eating' moods. Have you tried Morio (super) worms? They are less chitinous and more easily digested. They love the newly shed morios too! You can also get silkworms and phoenix worms in the UK in case you haven't looked into those.

But hom many people are at mac a lot more that once or twice a week? We feed our chams better than we feed ourselves.:D
