ive tried since we got her she just wont have it,i dont know what they did to her where i got her from but she is just scared of everything

ive tried since we got her she just wont have it,i dont know what they did to her where i got her from but she is just scared of everything

No one may have done anything to her. She may simply be a shy Oustaleti. Many are quite shy. You can slowly get her used to the daily routine and she'll learn that you aren't a threat. She just may never accept your attempts to be friends. There are worse things...she could just as easily be very aggressive. Give her time.

You mean in terms of aggression? I don't know and wouldn't make the general statement anyway. All I meant was...it is easier to deal with a very shy cham than a very aggressive one regardless of species.

Yes as for as aggression. I just wondered if they were more like veiled bc I haven't come across a aggressive panther. She's snapped at me twice she jyst always acts like she's gonna bite me.

Most of the time this is a bluff. She's telling you to back off. She's afraid. Maybe leave her alone more for a while and let her relax. If she's constantly stressed she will be more reactive.

You might have to let her bite you to prove you arnt scared and that you arnt a threat.

I've noticed with Lilly she would act like she is going to bite but I don't pull my hand away and then pick her up. I think she realized I wasn't a treat

I wasn't a threat. Like for example Rex is at the adulthood age so he acts all tuff but I show I'm not scared and he climbs out on me. Now he sleeps In my lap like a dog

Yea we got her about a month ago and haven't messed with her till now so I don't know to leave her alone or try everyday don't want to push it but don't want to just leave her alone you know what I mean
