our other new addition

dozens of hatchling veileds and a new little k. multi weren't keeping us busy enough this week ... we found this guy and had to bring him home.

i envy your collection of mellers and multis :p

lol awsome new recruit, Butters suits the guy haha

Thanks everyone! We found him on Craigslist ... (I really really need to stay off CL!)

He is captive bred, a bit over a year old, has been caged and not handled much. He was well taken care of though. He is a bit overwhelmed with all the room he has now, shy with us but seems curious about the other melleri.

Your house is being taken over!

He looks great. Good find.

One question on the breeding thing. I was thinking, Do you think that the weather changes and such plays a part in getting them "in the mood"? If so i wonder if you could get an ecozone and try and recreate their natural weather to try and get them to mate?

You have quite the collection going. Butters is a lovely addition, if someone could sell that wonderful Cham on Craig's list, they didn't deserve him. You certainly do deserve him.:)

I'm sure it plays a part ... hopefully they will acclimate to this weather and mate eventually as I'm not really able to recreate Tanzania in Southern CA at this time!

His previous owner fell on hard times and couldn't properly care for him any longer. He was serious about getting him a good home rather than just trying to make a buck. I'm glad I found him!
