Our future breeder with an 'O' instead of the 'Y'

I just had to share these pictures because the color of this guy blows me away and he is only 7 months old! He was a holdback from our clutch and we kept him because he had an unique 'O' pattern on his side instead of the typical Ambilobe 'Y'

Non of his brothers shared the 'O'

We (creativly) named him Circle Side...

Non of these photos are enhanced

His father has the 'Y'

And his brother of the same age also has the 'Y':

That's really neat how he turned out. It will surely be interesting to see if that circle marking gets passed on and to what degree. Gotta think of a catchy "morph" name now. LOL

The Ambilobe at Dave's dragons has an "O" on him also =) I didn't realize it was unique.

The ambilobe at dave's dragons hase the same pattern and I was going to sugest you buy him and start your own "O" breeding program but the one at dave's dragons has eye issues and can't see very well.

Thank you for all the comments. I am really amazed at his color. He is very vibrant and I am sure I will be posting more photos of him as he grows and changes!

Well it wouldn't work either if Dave's dragons ambilobe is a boy too LOL

I know another forum member has a male ambilobe with a O / diamond (I thought it looked similar to the superman sign shape) on his side.

It doesn't seem to be be very common tho. He may even grow out of it.
