our first

yeah im going to get some vines in the next couple of days. waiting for pay checks. we went christmas shopping and toysrus got the best of us.

haha i know how that is. when you have little ones toys r us is the greatest place in the world

inside the pot i drilled a hole for a standard 3/4" bulk head. on top of the bulk there is drain screen and on top of that there is a layer of river rock so it drains properly so the plants dont drown, and the soil doesnt constantly stay wet.

But some spray will get to the bottom of the cage and pool or flow on to your carpet-especially with the Habba-"spit"-there is no "mist" about that thing! I have all tile, and the floor does get wet during mistings. Additionally-lesson learned-misting will ruin drywall! :) I am patching walls currently!

thats funny. my other hobby is reef keeping, and my wife owns a aquarium store. we noticed that the other night. we are looking into this issue. thank you the input everything helps. what did you do for yours

Well-I handmist everything STILL! :) So I can control somewhat where water goes, but like I said, I have tile so the water really does not hurt anything. Now that I have spent weeks repairing drywall and painting, I am going to put a shower curtain between the wall and the cham racks! :)

i think we will hand misting to control the over spray. the habba mister is there for while we are at work. we plan on upgrading the mister in the future. i think personally the little dripper would have been better than the habba mister. i think i might make one.
