Our approx 6 month old female

Rhino

Named Chamelea by my kids, she still only eats crickets but is growing very nicely. She has shed 3 times in the last 2 months. She has completely ignored horn worms, wax worms, dubia's and super worms.

I think next I will try some type of fly.

As you can see, she isn't always the happiest girl. And she won't let me handle her, even though she knows I bring the food. I tried hand feeding , but she'll have none of it.

Any other suggestions for handling?

I think you should keep trying with the new food, kind of mixing it in with her diet of crickets. Chameleons can be somewhat hard to persuade when it comes to something new. It could just mean your cham needs a little bit longer to adjust. For handling, don't push anything. She will tell you her limits. You can leave the cage door open so that she can see that the outside world is safe, and then she might become a little bit more trusting and confident of the setting around her. Maybe someone else will come up with another method you can try. Hope this helped, good luck! :)
