ORDER miskting or WAIT until reptile show?

I have enough cash for a mistking (my father will take my cash and order it online)...

But here are some cons;

1. I do not trust UPS. Almost everything I've gotten from UPS has been either late, "undelivered while I wasn't home" (when I was home), damaged, etc

2. the shipping is like 30 frigging $

Here are cons to going to the reptile show;

1. Pay 5-10$ to get in

2. I do not know the price of the mist king starter pack at the show.

Will it be 99$ still?

What are your pros and cons to getting it from shipping or getting it in person? Thanks.

depends if that is all you are going to buy at the reptile show, you can go to the show with the cheapest online prices of everything you need and go to the show with print outs and they will match those prices nine out of ten times, then you pay five to get in and that resembles the cost of shipping for one item but then the rest of your supplies are at online prices or better, with free shipping

Mist kings typically don't fluctuate too much.

Well I can't comment on the getting one at the show since I've never been to one, but I'm guessing it will be about the same price. The only thing is you probably won't be spending your money on shipping. I would say wait for the show, and see what prices are and weigh your options then. Hope this helps

How close are you to one of LLL Reptile stores ?- I think they have 4 locations in California and they sell them on-line so most likely would have them at a store-

How come LLL's shipping is 4$ and mistking's shipping (UPS) is ~30$?

I believe mistking is located in Canada, so the shipping can easily be many times more than shipping domestically.

Also, the mistking box weighs a lot.

The more shipping you do the better price you get from UPS & Fed Ex- the company I work for does over a million a year just in Fed Ex shipping and we pay around 1/2 as much to ship a fed ex package than you would taking it to a Fed Ex station- LLL does a bunch of shipping -

Sounds like you're set on Mistking, but if you decide on Aquazamp I'm sure Kevin would let you pick it up in person to save on shipping. We were able to do that. Also, he might be willing to meet you at an SBCK meeting if that's more convenient. Just a thought.

I'm ordering from LLLreptile right now--Since shipping is so low, I wonder how many days it'll take.

But whatever, YAY mistking!

I prefer mistking over Aquazamp or the Monsoon at this point. I do love the raindome, but I feel like it is pretty expensive just for the system (cheapest).
