Yeah so when my juvi Nosy be fires up at me he has black barring! BUT if you put him in front of a mirror he turns light blue with slight Orange barring.... Weird
Orangeish Nosy be?!

You sure "he" isn't a she? I can't see the pictures very well, but I do know female Nosy Be show some crazy orange sometimes.

It's possible but I highly doubt it. I would think that he wouldn't be developing as much teal as he is if he was a lady.

I wasn’t expecting such a dramatic change after a shed! This Nosey Be is now very orange/pink from the juvenile gray color after one shed. I better check that tail bulge again, I thought this was my male.

But the orange individual that was just posted is definitely a female, and a really very beautiful one at that! I know you didn't expect a girl, but wow, that is some awesome orange.

This is a link to a picture of my Nosy be santi. Like I said in my previous post this picture doesn't reflect how orange the outline of his bars were or how blue he was. Do you still think he could be female?

Yea, looks female....Dont see a tail bulge behind the vent. Not the best pic though.....but Im stickin with santi is a santina.....if you can take a better pic with tail out length wise that would be better.....
I've had female crosses show alot of teal/blue.....

So you guys really think Santi is a female? He's still young so he wouldn't have a bulge yet, but his tail is significantly thicker at the base... Again this isn't the best picture and it was as he was getting ready to sleep but you can see the tail a bit better.

Also he shows quite a few male characteristics for example we got him to show the Orange when we brought him in the bathroom to take pictures in better lighting. The second he got close to the mirror he fired up and started gaping. Immediately I thought that he was too young to be that aggressive around another male. Also how old would you think our little one is, we bought him at the Daytona EXPO last month

I would say around the 4-6month age.....maybe older.......
You should see a noticeable bulge by now..u can usually see it at a younger age to.....
