Orange gutload

I thought using oranges for gutloading was not good for reptiles. But on some gutloading list I see them

I use oranges in my variety of gutloads without any problems.

I've heard that the acid in oranges can cause issues when used frequently. Using them now and then is fine.

I use them with no problems. Guessing more than I should. They stay cheap in the winter months around here.

I used oranges this week and when my guy chomped a cricket this morning one cricket squirting like you would not believe. It was so gross I naturally watched him eat the rest...but nothing else topped the one. I'm using apple and dry cricket feed this week as well. I need to get some greens this weekend. Funny how feeders are as high maintenance as the chams. When people ask how any animals I have I tell them I have 2 dogs, 24 fish, 3 geckos, 1 cham, and a bunch of small "foster pets".

I use oranges every week or so on my crickets. Never had any problems with it as far as I know.
