What are your thoughts about the health of these two. They both seem a bit skinny to me. I see what I think is damage (perhaps an old burn) to the males crest and he also has a wierd kink to the end of his tail. Obviously they are both quite strssed. The male has the most beautiful colours. dark stripes and blue spots but he is not showing these very much at the moment and not at all in the photo LOL

another pic of the male veiled

sorry about the quality of the pics but at least this one shows a different angle which may help. I see a lot of people are viewing this but no one seems to want to comment?

They may look a little thin, but the picture quality makes it hard to tell. It is also hard to tell how old they may be.

better pics will help but i dont see nothing a lil tlc cant take care of!
heavily feed and water them and in no time they will be thriving!

thanks thats great to hear :) they are both beautiful creatures. I was just a tad worried incase I missed anything important. I have only ever had one chameleon before so I'm no expert yet. Plenty of tlc is no probs!

Yeah, to me, they do look on the skinny side. Definitely offer them as much as they can eat for a few weeks. Then once they start to fill out again, back off to normal feeding. They need the calories right now for sure. Try wax worms, butter worms, silk worms and horn worms.

Thanks vibrant chams here are some more pics.... still not the best quality!

yes ill feed them up for a bit. The male has an odd tip to his tail. I guess he has damaged it at some time. Is it OK to just leave it alone or what? It wont cause him probs will it?
