Opinions on my husbantry

I'm getting my first panther chameleon in a couple of weeks hes 3-4 months old and I have just finished building the enclosure. After seeing other people's set ups I'm wondering if I went overboard with the branches and plants? Also I live in South West Wales which has really high humidity this time of year and the last couple of days the enclosure has been around 80% day time. I live in a old drafty house and the enclosure is really well ventilated and I think adding computer fans to lower the humidity would make him too cold. The basking area is at 28c and the middle is around 23-24c and bottom is 19c. Will he be okay with higher humidity? Thankyou for reading😇

Wow! I love your set up! Perfect as is! For bringing the humidity down, of course you can get a dehumidifier. Those can be pricey though. Perhaps try putting the computer fans so they are sucking air from the top. With a higher than ideal humidity, do make sure your temps don’t exceed 26c, which is what you want for babies anyhow. Having lots of ventilation is going to be essential, which is where the little fans will help.

Thankyou😇 with the 26c do you mean basking temp or general temp in enclosure? my house is pretty cold so 24c is the highest I can get it without a heater, the average room temp is around 18/19c

Chams are cold blooded, so feel free to ad as many fans as you like, its not going to lower their temp like it does humans. Blowing 18c air on him just makes him 18c. Its better to keep the air going just to dry things out to prevent mold.

From what I understand, moving the air in the cage will not lower the humidity unless the cage humidity is higher than the room humidity. The fan would not cool them in, unless the air you are blowing into the cage is cooler than the air in the cage. The fan should not cool the chameleon if the air in the cage is the same temperature as the room because chameleons don't sweat, which is why a fan cool us.

Anyone with more science knowledge than me should correct me if I'm wrong on any of that.
