fed first to large silkworm to chammy. He tried to eat it but "hit" it cruched it and let it fall.

Why do you think it was too big for him. I feed my new Cham silks for the first time this week. The first one he chomped on and then spit it out. To him I guess it didn't have the normal crunch. I tried again the following day and now he loves them. Don't give up!

I think if they get a gooey one they spit it out. Can't taste very nice when they go slimey....ewwww.
