One more heat ? Sorry

I posted about a week ago about my Cham and heat. I changed things and got the heat corrected. Now, my question is. When my Cham is basking. Should the top of his back or the casque be the hottest spot? My chams back is mid 80's but the top of his casque is 100. He doesn't sit with his mouth open anymore since I got the basking spot lowered. I just not sure if that high of a temp on his casque is okay.
Thanks

He is Veiled of course....how old is he? For an adult that would definitely be fine. Younger than 9 months I would be changing it somehow so he can't angle himself like that.
They way I have my basking spots set up they angle their flanks to the light :)

He will be 1year sometime in feb. I didn't get the exact day. Anyway, I have seen him angle himself. Sometimes he doesn't. I was wondering because he had just gone through a head shed. The top of his casque is still whiteish looking, like peeling skin, but hard to tell if it is skin. I was thinking maybe getting to hot and discoloring? However, he is still shedding, on his body now too.

If you are concerned just post a picture, if there is a potential burn on the way best find out as early as you can :)
