One glass side on cage

I was given a cage today that is a cube 18''x 18''x 18''. It is all mesh except the back side wich is glass. Is it ok for that one side to be glass? I know they say all screen is the best, but ive never heard anything about a cage with one side glass.

i think it should be perfectly fine.
the minimum requirement for a good air flow is 2 screen sides.
I would cover the glass with some kind of fake rock wall (like the one that exoterra aquarium have).

some chameleons tend to get stressed out from seeing their own reflections.

This sounds really small. If you cham is extremely young, this will due for a month, maybe? I don't want to sound too negative but chams need height more than anything.

I totaly understand that, I would only be using this cage for young chams. Mine right now is a baby panther. She is about 2.5 inches from snout to vent.

the glass part would be good, since you will be able to stick temperature and humidity gauges on it. and any plastic suction cupped plants you might want to use too.
