One foot hanging off of branch?

Have you guys/gals ever seen your chameleon hang one foot off of the branch they're standing on? In the last few days I've seen my Ambilobe have one foot hanging off of the side. If I get him on to my arm he feels like he has a strong grip and his appetite is fine. Has anyone every experienced this?

I'd say that he's relaxing. Waldo hangs his belly off his branch with his head on his front foot as well as a foot hanging off. He does this everyday under his uvb bulb.

If mines in his happy spot hes just hanging by a tail and the other 4 feet are just dangling like a basking iguana.

Mine had his back to feet hanging off the branch, and his tail wrapped around the branch. I looked to see what the heck he was doing...and he pooped. LOL As long as he's using his foot, I think you're fine.

It seems to have been alternating feet. As of now he is still using his feet. I hadn't really seen it before so I wasn't sure.

show off

He is just showing off to you. Explain to him it isn't nice to brag. or maybe he was just working out a cramp.

Yes, they will do that, but If it is continual, then something could be bothering him. They will dangle their limbs sometimes if they are in pain. Does the limb look swollen at all?
