My little Finn has one eye that is kind of sunken in and he doesn't open it much, its kind of starting to worry me : confused:
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male veiled chameleon. Had him for about a month
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? About once a day of he's not mad
Feeding - Crickets, about 5 a day dusting in calcium w/o d3 everyday but Sunday. We use d3 that day
Supplements - Repetitive dust
Watering - Misting and little dripper, mist a lot,
Fecal Description - Never been tested for parasites, normal poop
History - Not really, bought him at a Pet Shop( don't bash me)
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen 16x16x30 will be getting a bigger one as he grows
Lighting - A day and A UVB light, lights go off at 9 pm on at 6;30 am
Temperature - About 90-around 67
Humidity - Using a humidity gage, I mist a lot and have a huge humidifier in my room, it stays in the 60-70 range
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - The cage is about two feet off the floor, over an air vent, but the vent is covered.
Location - Utah

Current Problem - One sunken in the eye, he opens it once in a while and uses it when he eats but when he is just chilling he closes it and it sinks in. .

Hello ChamGirl,

You're going to have to be way more specific with your answers. A picture of his sunken eye will also be helpful.

-Supplement schedule should be calcium with d3 at every feeding and calcium without d3 twice a month. You will also need to do multi-vitamin dusting twice a month as well.

-How much is misting "a lot" and for how long is each session?

-What is normal pooping to you? What color are his poop and urates?

-What type of UVB bulb do you have? Linear or coil? 5.0 or 10.0? Your cham also needs an equal amount of rest time and it is recommended that you do 12 hours lights on and 12 hours lights off. My schedule is lights off at 7PM and on at 7AM.
