One eye sunken in

Ellie's left eye is sunken in. I noticed this yesterday so I flushed it with saline and it seemed to help a little bit. I don't think she's dehydrated since I see her drinking water and her urates are all white. This picture is from today. She's keeping it mostly closed but she will move it and open her eyes when she needs to. Do you think I need to mist her more?? My mistking timer broke so we're hand misting lately.

If she were dehydrated I would think it would effect both of her eyes. I would venture to say that something else is going on. If it does not improve, I would take her to a vet and have it checked out before it gets really bad.

Poor little Ellie. I'm with Carol on this one. It must be something going on with that one eye.

I agree with both of you. I just had to put that on there so people don't jump the gun in thinking sunken eye = dehydration.

Whenever my chameleons Have an eye problem I put them in the shower with warm water for about 10 minutes and it usually goes away . Don't put the shower directly just let the outer spray mist hit it.
