On top of cage

My chameleon loves climbing on the roof of his cage and it's always so sketchy looking I don't want him to get hurt. Plenty of times he's jerked around trying to get to another branch and once he's down he goes right back up what can I do?

Sorry, chams feel the safest, the highest they can get. Either block it off or reenforce it. The odds of them falling is almost zero, since they are always holding on by at least 2 feet. The only time they may fall is when they really stretch out on 2 feet to go for a bug.

He just always makes me so nervous lol scared he's gonna miss his branch
