Current Problem - i see him go down to the bottom of the cage and walks around. when he sees me coming he scurries back up the tree. he has no signs of mbd and i even posted pics but no one saw anything.

still active and eating?
if so, it's probably nothing. He's probably checking out his enclosure.

Sounds like he is exploring. You should be dusting feeders almost every day with a D3 free calcium.

i did dust every day, but then he got white crusties so i am cutting down. im gonna dust once a week, but i was doing it once every 2 weeks to get it out of his system and then go back to once a week. btw he eats anytime i give him food.

Lol. Afraid of heights is he? Good one. Maybe he is a little horny. I have 1 male that for the last week has been going crzy in his cage. Nothing has changed, i just think he is trying to get out to look for a lady. My male veiled did that one time for about 2 weeks then he finally chilled out. He's probably looking for an escape route.

What I am saying is that you should not be dusting with D3 but twice a month, you also need the calcium without D3.
