I almost hit a deer today, going 70 mph.
I was on a back road, always tend to go faster on back roads, because it makes me feel like I'm flying. Well, today I took the wrong back road, so I turned around. On my way back down this road, I noticed this deer booking it towards the road. I drive a tiny little green escort, and my car can not survive hitting a deer. Well, I slammed on my breaks. Bad habit everyone tells me that it is an animal and I shouldn't do that or I could cause an accident. Well, today I am pretty sure it saved my life. I missed the deer by literally 2 feet. After that I decided that my need to fly is going to take the back seat for now. Deer season is not the time to test my breaks...lol.
