you know whats strange and what I found!!!???!!! my female veileds for some reason have come to a liking of my male ambilobe Blaze!!! they are always trying to get at him on their side of the cage thats next to his. strange thing is they don't show aggression and show a stronge intrest to him. and today when i got home from work i found little white globes on the branches toward that side of his cage. weird isn't it. whats funnier is when i check out my little ladies sometimes they color up in a friendly way towards him and show alot of blue dots.

"Love knows no race or religion"... - or something along those lines - a famous poet wrote once...I just can't remeber his name...

would cross breading so drastically work?

i'm not really sure. but i find it quit odd for them to even find intrest in a different species. never tried it and don't really think it would be a good idea i just find it weird that they like him and he likes them but blaze is a very big boy in size and his package i feel would destroy my little ladies

I know of somebody that produced babies from a Map turtle bred to a diamondback terrapin. Strange things can happen.

i would like to see those babies. but i'm not one for cross breeding and don't want to try different species. I'm the type thats all about the pure breeds the only type id want to cross breed are nosey be's and ambanjas due to the color they produce in their offsprings. it just trips me out seeing my veileds intrested in him. I just wish my male veileds were like my ladies and friendly:(

It would be cool to see a panther/veiled cross. unfortunatly they are just such different species of chams that they cant produce fertile eggs.

My friend has a very small, but perfectly formed male veiled and he always has his eye on her female Xanth! Now those babies would be AMAZING! His vibrant colours with horns! She could make her fortune with those babies! I'm sure he would try his luck with Mumma J too if he got half the chance!:D
