Hey I can't believe just what happen my two Rudis chams ate from my hand I hold the crickets with the tips of my fingers as long I could and bang the male ate three and the female one but im so glad and excited that I'm speechless I just got them 2 week ago this is really cool and i decide to try hand feed them after reading a post "handle my Cham" one of the guys recommend to try to hand feed your Cham so he/she get use to see your hand inside the cage and become less frightened well guys im really happy and if you are trying to hand feed your friend don't give up it really pays off 

You have a lot to teach me. i have been trying to hand feed a baby melleri for about 5 months. He is still convinced I want to eat him.:( i am happy to hear it is going well for you.:)

Thats cool! We just got ambush our Jackson chameleon a few days ago and the closest I have come to that is holing him while he eats mill worms from a bowl. :)

lol thanks guys yeah this is awesome they about 6 1/2 months old and this morning I leave them crickets in their plastic cups when I got home they were gone and they still want to snach some from my fingers 

If you hand feed them every day after a while you may be able to get them to walk out onto your hands.:D

Congrats! I know the feeling.. over the past week I have been working with getting my sambava from eating from my hand, to enticing him with his snack to crawl onto my free hand and then I reward him with his yummy snack! He's making great progress with his disposition from when I first took him in and now. It's an awesome rewarding feeling :D

Thank you guys! I'm not expecting to get them onto my hand that soon or that easy they are really little and fragil but i know im in the right track and today was a good start!! 

Like I said before don't give up maybe I was really lucky or they are really glutton lol lol 

Awesome, Very exciting when you have a break through, i'm still at odds with my new veil, she's more stubborn then i am. Never though i'd hear anyone say that lol:rolleyes: but she is. she's adorable though and hopefully with alot of patience she'll come near me or atleast stop flinching.

....I honestly think gluttony is the only thing that got my guy onto my hand for hand feeding today lol ... he's such a hog :p

Hi guys it happened again I came home and went for feed hand my Rudis and this time the female snach 5 crickets and the male 4 so I'm keep on going and they keep on eating lol 

Nice man, I got my guy to come out on my hand today completely but he didnt't go for the worm while he was completely on my hand, he wa still a little iffy, so I put him let him back in and grabbed a worm and held it up to him.. he's lookin at me like "seriously, you expect me to eat that after you just tricked me onto your hand" but then he gave into the temptation and snatched it right up lol  .... I have to say he's got quite the personality (they all do though) and I have to say the felling and love of having him is like being a child and getting your first puppy... I LOVE MY BABIES.

Wow what a cool experience good for u I hope one day I get them go onto my hand with confidence thanks for sharing 

You will man, it just takes baby steps of creation of mutual trust between the both of you.. and from the way it sounds your on the right path :)
