I read in one book the highest count for jax babies was 50. I wouldn't know my highest litter count has been 15 so far. On a side note: did you mean oxycontin or oxytocin? HUGE difference. seriously though, good luck and stay positive. All the female jax i have seen with birthing issues have always been ok afterwards. So power down the stress a little and play the fun grandma role. it will work out. (did she have to pass a urine screen for pain mngmnt like here in VA? Where i go we have to pass 6 a year. I can never pee on the spot. Too much pressure.)
no, it was oxytocin- lol - dont pick on me

I am so brain dead

I have had the other, Oxycontin - when I had my lower spine "replaced" - that was a trip

maybe I should have let her have that instead

she would have been one mellow little girl

50 !!! wow- I think we are good with 27
I know this was really hard on her- she is wore out - I spoke w/ the vet this afternoon, he wants to just let her rest now, and see how she does over the next few days, and her little upper legs are so sore, she hardly moved today, she keeps holding her one leg up and waving it about- I know its really sore, but she ate, drank - but boy is she really upset if I go near her now- she has every right to be too- I hope she will forgive me

but I still think I made the right choices - this has sure been a lesson for me - I asked why so many? it could be in part due to her size ( she is a moose

) and the fact she knows Oliver is about, so her body just kept making the eggs, but with out breeding, she just kept making more- he said, even after all this, he would still let her breed in time- I am undecided on that one - but I can not even think that far ahead at this point-
I really thank you all for all your support- its hard to make decisions sometimes, and it really helps when others support you on them , and even tho she about had a damn heart attack or what ever she did the first time, I am glad I took her back and got the rest of the exam, and ultrasound - she just gets so worked up , even the Dr. said Olive by far is his most dramatic client

( not so sure if that is a good thing, but that's Olive, and I love her

)
