They should be fine, i wouldnt really worry since it was only one. Its flies that are from outside you have to worry about because you dont know where they have been and could have a whole bunch of nasty things on them
I would assume the housefly came from outside oringinally? He shoud be just fine. Wouldn't feed them to my cham deliberately though if they are wild. Just as with any wild insect they could harbor parasites.
