What!? Man put him in touch with me. If he is not on here my email is [email protected].

I sent you a PM about care and an invite to KCK.

I'll post more on care later. Don't let him jump!

Ok as for care here is a bit about how i do it. First of all you need to maintain hydration. Do that either through controlling humidity or providing plenty of water. Either way you will need to step it up compared to what you are probably used to. the better you hydrate the hotter you can keep them and the faster they will grow. Maximum temp EVER should be 75 in the bottom and 100 under the heat lamp. I take no responsibility for how you measure your hot spot so play it safe as they can survive much cooler. anyway you know what your options are for hydration but ill say that a dripper won't be enough. generally a dripper causes major drainage issues and minor hydration so it may not be worth it.

let us know what route you take and we will tell you if it is sufficient.

as for supplements I would use plenty of calcium at that age. even 3x per week is probably fine. D3 just 4 times a month depending on your UVB.

I recommend cup feeding because you need to feed that dude a lot but you need to keep track of how much he is eating too...

ok that is all I can do for now. post some pics or let us know more and I will chime in again.

Well so far in his cage he has a ficus lots of fake plants and vines, a 40w bulb and a 5.0 reptisun ubv bulb

I know a dripper wont cut it alone,

I have a dripper going Most of the day in zuggies cage and i mist 3 times a day with him and he has silks as his staple and his urates are always nice and white so he is very well hydrated! And he has good drainage in his cage so i will be getting some good drainage going on in rex's cage soon!!

Would this work for him too? As in a dripper going slowly to help with humidity and the 3 mistings or more??

And as far as suppliments go, zuggie is on repashy all in one calcium plus i give him with every feed, is this okay for him? ....but i do have calcium without d3 and calcium with d3 and the multivitimins here also so i can use them no problem.

Ill try with the cup feeding and will keep track on what were feeding him!

Thankyou for all your advice ill get more pics and stuff up soon!! :D :D

If repashy says to do that it might be ok. I would probably feed without any powder at least twice a week.

Certainly keep the dripper going but the problem is that that type of water does not increase the humidity. It just kinda flows through the cage and out or collects down low where it can't evaporate -- it's got to be vapor to actually humidify.

40 watt is good. You can probably give him a perch directly underneath the bulb like 4 inches from the glass of the bulb.

Think rex is a bit more settle in now got a snap of him just chillin out and a picture of his set up i am goin to get more foliage just doin him in the mean time seems happy a nuff thou :) :) tell me wot u think

Cage looks fine to me. What is the average temp in your room? Do you have AC or some type of climate control for the summer?
