Getting my desk setup for the arrival of my Noki male! So excited

Since I work from home, it should be as tranquil a place as possible right? :)

Small viv will be for when hes small. Then around 6-8months he will go to the big house. I am in the process of building a custom terrarium, but its gonna be a while before I can afford to finish it.

Thanks for lookin btw

Looks like you're all set for your noki boy john. :) I know he'll be in good hands. Can't wait to send him your way!

Took some time to update Bane's temporary adult cage by planting a new schefflera, pothos, and bromeliad. In the pots I have small lava rocks mixed with the soil to enhance drainage, then topped the pots with larger lava rock so Bane doesn't ingest any soil while sniping insects. Instead of a substrate, I laid down more lava rock to cover that ugly white floor. After the Mist King gets installed, the next step will be to attach peacock moss to the bottom lava rock so it spreads over the rocks, creating a natural green floor. (will probably wait until after I transplant this setup into his acrylic terrarium being built)

Today's project was building the wooden walkways in the pics below. Yesterday while my 3 yr old was driving his power wheels around the neighborhood, I stole random dead branches from my neighbors yards which really confused many of them  Brought the branches home, cut them to match the desired lengths for my design, then used my dremel tool to remove sharp ends and notches. Then I took my steel wool and striped them of their nasty "skin". Lastly is the cleaning process. I just scrubbed with dawn dish liquid and water.

The fun part was using youtube and learning how to tie proper knots as seen in the pictures below.

He is doing great! I have never seen a cham that is as friendly and social as him. It has created another "problem".... He ALWAYS wants out to explore. Makes me feel guilty for leaving him in his enclosure while I am working away from home. My veiled hated everyone and everything, so its nice to have such a friendly cham. He climbs onto my finger immediately when I open his door :)

added a Swedish Ivy that is taking over! I put this plant in to cushion any falls since Bane is still a baby
