Odd cham

So I started putting ice cubes above his tank and he loves them! He will sit under them and drink all day.
But when I spray him he never drinks and avoids the water at all cost. Does your cham do this? XD

some just like dripping water better than misitings. I don't think there is an explanation as to why, it is just the individual chameleons preference. Mine also likes the dripper and rarely drinks from mistings. Have your tried warm water as opposed to cold?

Yes, I have tried it once. No difference.

Mine responds better when I use a big "garden" mister I fill with hot water. I set the spray to the finest mist setting. When the water lands on the Cham it's the perfect temp! It can be messy - but it's worth it

My chameleons are both different, my female yemen likes to drink while im misting and my male will only drink from his dripper. Instead of using ice cubes have you tried putting a pin size hole in a plastic cup and fill with luke warm water it would drip just like an ice cube only not be ice cold water.
