NY needs more cham lovers!

Or something to that affect, seeing as I don't seem to find any info anywhere about any reptile expos in the upper or central ny locations. Anyone know where I can find info for stuff like this? I feel like I'm missing out on sooooo much D:.

Oh, and if anyone is going to Blizzcon let me know! I'm not bringin' my cham but it will be the only time I will be back in Cali. Ever.

There are 2 shows that I have been to in NY. There is one in White Plains & one on Long Island. Both are Twice a year & very crowded.

Do you remember what the dates were? As the days go by I'm slowly noticing more and more how much I want more and more reptiles and how I am slowly getting pulled deeper into the hoby...

Screameleons is always at the White Plains Expo. I got to pick up supplies and feeders mostly but I always stop to check our their chams. They always have some stunners up for show and people usually crowd around their booth. Site sponsor holdin it down hah

dave what is upstate NY? are you above albany or in the hudson valley? The white plains show is every 2 months usually. Next one is Sept 11th. The long island show is twice a year.

There is a new show that is starting in poughkeepsie. they are having their second show in september also. Its still small but hopefully will catch on and be as big as white plains show.

Right now I am over in Brewerton, just shy of North Syracuse. Upstate NY to me is the upper region about midway and above. That is at least what we refer to it in this area. Plus, it is easier to say "I come from Upstate NY" vs "I came from NY" and deal with "OHHH so you lived in the city?" every time you met someone new. I was in the military, so savin' time on that whole conversation helped keep my sanity lol.

Probably my best bet would be goin' to the white plains show in that case. I was more worried it was going to be the same weekend as blizzcon! I would have cried lol

Oh, and the dav in my sn is actually the nickname I gave my cham. I named him Davros after the character in the tv series Dr. Who. I figured it was appropriate if you take Dav's attitude into consideration.
