Nutritional Value of Feeders

This is something that I have been thinking about a lot lately. Did a search here and, as I knew I would, found some great information/resources. The posts are several+ years old so I thought I would compile a few of the threads/links in a new thread hoping it would be helpful to anyone interested. Suffice to say, there is plenty of info out there if you're curious about what you are feeding, or what you should be feeding your reptile :)

This page has a printable chart:

This page is very sciency, but still readable for a dummy like me. Plus, if I ever want to start feeding my family another source of protein, the chart indicates the preparation method... so there's that :p

This is another chart - plus information on butterworms and looks like you can purchase butterworms, too. I can't remember who, but someone was saying that they seem hard to come by.

Like this so much, i have a chart saved in my phone, it really helps understand what you're giving. Might be me your thinking of that mentioned butterworms being hard to come by atm. not sure if they're around again because i bought a bunch that i've kept for over a month now and haven't checked. Wildfires in chile were apparently limiting them. One thing about butterworms is people seem to get that confused with waxworms. Butterworms have a good nutrient content and can be gutloaded with shredded carrots and/or steamed butternut squash. They make a nice addition, just watch for allergic reactions. i've heard people say some chams have allergies to them?
